Real Estate Closing Processor

Reports to: Closing Team Supervisor
Purpose: Facilitate Real Estate Escrow Closing Transactions

This is a full-time position responsible for day-to-day examination of title and legal documents and must pay close attention to details. Use logical thought processes while problem solving, take initiative to plan and prioritize work, and be adaptable to changing work requirements. Requires an understanding of technology, a pleasant phone demeanor, and clear writing skills. Must demonstrate enthusiasm, positive attitude and complete assignments in a cooperative manner. Will travel and support various offices located in the St. Louis area.

Responsibilities

This position adds value to Hillsboro Title Company by having responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurately placing, processing, and prioritizing title orders
  • Efficiently managing workflow and office closing schedule
  • Performinggeneral reception duties including, but not limited to:  Answering phones, professionally greeting customers, responding to customer and coworker emails in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Reviewing title commitments and gathering information from outside sources based on the information on the commitment and other necessary requirements for closing
  • Filing, scanning and copying
  • Protecting nonpublic customer information
  • Willingly performing other clerical duties as part of the company team

Qualifications

  • Ability to initiate a good customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others outside and within our industry both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Computer literacy including a proficiency in Word and Excel
  • General clerical skills
  • Ability to study and pass a formal licensing test at a testing center
